College Credit Plus at Washington State Community College

Though eligible students can take CCP courses at any college in Ohio, the majority of our students enroll at Washington State Community College. WSCC will hold a series of Information Sessions for 2019-20 in Graham Auditorium of the Arts & Science Building. Please attend one of these sessions or call 740-568-1930, or register here.

Early College at West Virginia University Parkersburg Our district has an articulation agreement allowing students to take dual enrollment classes through WVUP. Any 100 or 200 level course can be taken if the student meets prerequisites. All college-level courses are transferrable to other WV colleges/universities as well as most other institutions of higher education throughout the nation.

Frontier also is continuing its CCP agreement with Marietta College.

A student who wishes to apply to Marietta as a CCP student must have:

  • 3.0 GPA

  • SAT subscores of Reading & Writing 480 and Math 530 or ACT subscores of English 18, Reading 22, and Math 22

  • CCP application

  • * If your test scores are in the range to be conditionally eligible, a guidance counselor recommendation will be requested

First semester CCP students may take a maximum of 8 credit hours and maximum of 3 courses per semester for $33 per credit hour.

“MC in Three”—A degree in 3 years from Marietta College may be obtained if students are able to accumulate 30 CCP credit hours prior to beginning their freshman year. There are three majors where this would not be possible—education, athletic training and petroleum engineering. Seniors who have demonstrated satisfactory academic progress may take a maximum of 15 credit hours and maximum of 5 courses per semester. This option has a limited number of spaces. Students enrolling in the MC in Three program will get priority registration in classes over those who want to take general CCP credits.

CCP students choosing to pursue a degree at Marietta College must complete the requirements of the catalog in effect at the time they are granted undergraduate admission to Marietta College. Once accepted and prior to registering for classes a meeting with the CCP advisor must be arranged by contacting Suzanne Walker at 740.376.4628. Course selection is on a space available basis. Course listings may be found at: http://www.marietta.edu/Academics/academic_schedule/index.html
